Oncourse is available for use on all of Indiana University's campuses. The procedures vary slightly from campus to campus, depending upon local agreements and whether or not the Oncourse automatic data population feature is being utilized.
IUPUI, IUB, IUPU Columbus, IUE, IUK, IUN, IUSB, and IUS
All scheduled class sections are available on Oncourse for content development. Approximately two weeks before classes begin, students may access their course sections in which they are enrolled through their User Profiles, and guests may retrieve the sections using the Oncourse search field available on the campus login page. Students accessing courses where no content has been added by instructors will be informed that the section has not been activated in Oncourse and encouraged to check with their instructor to see if Oncourse will be used. Guests will have access only to information that has been made publicly available by the course instructor.

Instructors at this campus who wish to use Oncourse should notify oncourse@iupui.edu. On this campus, instructors may request that Oncourse administration create courses and group learning spaces manually for their use. Instructors can then use Oncourse to generate Star Accounts for students and others, such as teaching or lab assistants, who participate in their courses. Star Accounts enable access to all Oncourse features including discussion forums, course mail, and chat, as well as a utility for uploading and downloading files (Filemanager). Your Local Support Provider or Librarian should be able to determine which campus Library resources may be available.
New uses of technology in support of teaching and learning offers instructors an opportunity to rethink course objectives, goals, and educational strategies. As in the past, IUB instructors will continue to find assistance at the Teaching & Learning Technologies Centers (TLTC) for integrating Oncourse technology in their instruction. Similarly, support for instructors developing course materials with Oncourse at IUPUI and IU's other campuses will be available through the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) or the local campus equivalent:
